PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temperature controller of a Joule heating apparatus that can accurately detect the temperature of a heating object after being heated by uniforming the temperature distribution in the heating object, and to provide a Joule heating apparatus.SOLUTION: A temperature controller 40 includes: a disc-like base 42 fitted to a pipe line 46 of piping 26 connecting a discharge port 25 and a temperature sensor of an electric heating part to each other; and a plurality of inclined flow passages 43 having a circular cross section arranged at substantially equal intervals in the circumferential direction of the base 42 to make a heating object from the discharge port 25 flow in a plurality of different directions. The total of the cross sectional areas of the plurality of inclined flow passages 43 is 0.8 times or more and 1.2 times or less the cross sectional area of the discharge port 25. The axis C2 of the inclined flow passage 43 is inclined at an inclination angle of 30° or more and 60° or less with respect to the axis C1 of the piping 26.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
