Provided is a support leg which makes length adjustment possible using a simple configuration. A support leg (100) is equipped with a leg part (101), and a position-determining mechanism (110) for determining the length of the leg part (101). The position-determining mechanism is a mechanism having a housing (113), a slider (114), and a leg-part operation lever (115), wherein: the slider is capable of sliding between a lock position for locking the extension/contraction of the leg part, and a release position for releasing the lock; an operation tab (115a) is formed on one end of the leg-part operation lever so as to be positioned outside the housing; a connecting part (115b) is formed on the other end of the leg-part operation lever so as to be positioned inside the housing and connected to the slider; when the leg-part operation lever rotates in a direction causing the operation tab to approach the leg part, the connecting part moves in a direction so as to separate from the leg part and the slider slides to the release position; and when the leg-part operation lever rotates in a direction causing the operation tab to separate from the leg part, the connecting part moves in a direction so as to approach the leg part and the slider slides to the lock position.
