PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect precisely, abnormality of an air spring.SOLUTION: There is provided an air spring abnormality detection system for detecting abnormality of air springs which are disposed on respective left and right parts of a front side truck 20 disposed on a front side of a vehicle body 10 and a rear side truck 30 disposed on a rear side of the vehicle body 10. The air spring abnormality detection system comprises: first determination means (control part 42) for determining whether or not, imbalance of a diagonal direction of the vehicle body 10 is large; second determination means (control part 42) for determining whether or not, imbalance of a lateral direction of the vehicle body 10 is large; abnormality determination means (control part 42) for determining whether or not the air spring(s) is in an abnormal state; and signal output means (control part 42) for outputting an abnormality notification signal when it is determined that the air spring is in the abnormal state, by the abnormality determination means. The abnormality determination means determines that the air spring(s) is not in the abnormal state, when it is determined that imbalance of the diagonal direction is not large, and when it is determined that imbalance of the diagonal direction is large and imbalance of the lateral direction is large.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
