PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of imparting both antifouling property and flame retardancy to a flame-retardant fabric including a flame-retardant polyester fiber or the like and a method capable of imparting both antifouling property and pollen-catching capability to a crimped fabric including a crimped fiber or the like.SOLUTION: An antifouling fabric 1 has colloidal silica 4 applied to a flame-retardant fabric 3' including a flame-retardant polyester fiber 2' having flame retardancy. An antifouling fabric has colloidal silica and a flame retardant applied to a fabric including a polyester fiber in which the flame retardant is applied by post-processing. An antifouling fabric has colloidal silica applied to a crimped fabric including a crimped fiber subjected to crimping and an antifouling fabric has colloidal silica applied to any of the above-mentioned antifouling fabrics without using any binder resin.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
