Fuel arrangement method and fuel handling equipment

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel disposition method and a fuel handling facility capable of improving the safety in storage of nuclear fuels.SOLUTION: The fuel disposition method includes: a first step to determine the disposition position of the nuclear fuels in a fuel rack so as to ensure the subcriticality of the nuclear fuels based on the degree of burn-up, the initial enrichment and cooling time of the nuclear fuels; a second step to determine the disposition position of the nuclear fuels in the fuel rack so as to lessen damages on the nuclear fuels based on the degree of burn-up, the initial enrichment and the cooling time of the nuclear fuels; and a third step to determine the disposition position of the nuclear fuels in the fuel rack based on the disposition position of the nuclear fuels determined in the first step and the disposition position of the nuclear fuels determined in the second step.
