Digital printing device and reel-fed printing machine for the dynamic printing of statically printed substrate webs

The device has a position sensor (23) that measures transport direction of substrate webs (15-17) for regulating print position for dynamic printing. The position sensor provides the generated synchronization signal to digital printing head controller (25) and a speed signal transformer. The speed signal transformer provides the generated feed signal to the digital printing head controller. The digital printing head controller activates the digital printing head (22) dependent on the synchronization signal and feed signal. An independent claim is included for roller printing press.
