PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera for underwater photography capable of photographing underwater under bubble rising circumstances.SOLUTION: A camera 10 for underwater photography comprises: a gas container 12 having an opening 12A; and a photographing unit 14 having a lens unit which is disposed within the gas container 12 for photographing the outside of the gas container 12 via the opening 12A. The camera for underwater photography is positioned underwater with the opening 12A of the gas container 12 oriented downward and photographs underwater with this posture.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
