PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data logger which can increase the reliability of data to be stored.SOLUTION: A data logger according to an embodiment includes a sensor, a radio communication unit, and a controller. The sensor detects data to be stored in a storage unit. The radio communication unit regularly receives radio signals on a term-by-term basis. The controller changes at least one of the settings of the sensitivity of the sensor, the measuring interval of the sensor, the on-state or off-state of the sensor, and at least one low power consumption mode of the sensor on the basis of radio signals. The controller changes the settings of the sensor on the basis of a first identifying signal in a received radio signal and second identifying information stored in the storage unit in a first case and does not change the settings of the sensor in a second case.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
