An object of the present invention is to provide a novel mesenchymal stem cell having excellent therapeutic effects on various diseases, a novel pharmaceutical composition containing the mesenchymal stem cell, and a method for preparing them. The present invention is a mesenchymal stem cell that highly expresses at least one cell surface marker selected from the group consisting of EGFR and MIC-AB. The mesenchymal stem cells that highly express the specific marker are CD29, CD73, CD90, CD105, and CD166 positive and maintain undifferentiation.
