PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a titanium boride-containing powder excellent in fine dispersibility, a manufacturing method therefor and a manufacturing method of a sintered metal.SOLUTION: There is provided a titanium boride-containing powder containing Fe and TiBin particles, having a structure wherein Fe is dispersed in the TiB, particle diameter of dispersed TiBof 0.1 μm to 10 μm, content of TiBof 1% to 50% by vol.% and particle diameter of the titanium boride-containing powder of 15 μm or less. The manufacturing method of the titanium boride-containing powder includes a process (a) of mixing a ferrotitanium powder and a ferroboron powder, a process (b) for vacuum heating the mixed mixture and a process (c) for pulverizing a mass after the vacuum heating. The manufacturing method of a sintered metal includes molding and sintering the titanium boride-containing powder by using the same as raw material powder.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
