The unauthorized resource transfer events and/or tangible resource items may be identified while the resource transfer event is occurring (e.g., in real-time); thereby, allowing for the prevention of the completion of the event or other actions, such as deactivating the node, sequestering the resource items, and/or reconfiguring the security protocol.
