hydrolytically stable phosphite compositions, stabilized polymer composition and hydrolytic stabilization process of a hydrolytically stable phosphite secondary antioxidant as secondary antioxidants for polymer resins comprising a phosphite and an amine compound. The phosphite may be a liquid phosphite composition. the amine compound may have the structure of formula i: wherein x is 1, 2 or 3; R 1 is selected from a group consisting of hydrogen, and C 1 -C 6 straight or branched alkyl, and R 2 is selected from the group consisting of C 1 -C 30 straight or branched alkyl.
