A system (10) for manufacturing multi-wall corrugated polymer pipe is disclosed. system (10) includes an extruder (18) configured to coextrude concentric annular tubes; a corrugator (20) configured to form concentric annular tubes in a double walled tube having a smooth wall and a corrugated wall (122, 222); a crosshead die (22) configured to extrude a pipe outer wall into the corrugated wall (122, 222) of the double-walled pipe, a vacuum drill (26) configured to penetrate the pipe outer wall and effect a vacuum between the wall (122,222) and the outer wall, such that the outer wall of the tube is deformed inwardly toward the corrugated wall (122,222) of the tube between the mouth and tip portions of the corrugated wall (122,222), and a cutter (40) configured to cut the pipe into sections where the vacuum drill (26) deformed the outer wall between the mouth portion (112) and the tip portion (114) of the corrugated wall (122,222). Also disclosed is a method of fabricating multi-wall corrugated polymer tube.
