The development of Brazilian red propolis toothpastes incorporated with associated with arginine, fluoride and hydroxyapatite for control of oral microorganisms.Toothpastes have as main function is the prevention of dental caries and gingivitis.Among the various species, currently the Brazilian red propolis is known worldwide for having different chemical composition and have a wide therapeutic action in various diseases.The Brazilian red propolis has been tested for its antimicrobial activity on oral bacteria.With good results in vitro and in vivo which gives credibility to the clinical use of the drug.There were no patents of toothpastes with Brazilian red propolis, or associated with remineralizadoras substances such as fluoride and hydroxyapatite.
