Patent for “Synthesis of edi-type lpm-12 zeolitic material from the silicoaluminous residue generated in the extraction of lithium from spodumene” The present invention relates to the synthesis of edi-type lpm-12 zeolitic material (p21212 symmetry) in basic medium between 25 ºC and 150 ºc from the silicoaluminous residue generated in the extraction of lithium from spodumene ore. To obtain the lpm-12 material, the required synthesis gel composition was: 3 sio2: (0.01-2.5) al2o3: (2-8) k2o: (50-150) h2o. The obtained material presents potentiality in adsorbent, catalytic and ion exchange applications due to its composition.
