The present invention describes nanostructured lipid carrier systems comprising bocaiuva oil (acrocomia aculeata), obtained by homogenization under high heat pressure. These systems can be used in the preparation of innovative, safer and more effective products with photoprotective and antioxidant action. In addition, they can be used as a technological aid, aiming to amplify the sun protection factor in photoprotective cosmetic formulations.
