The present invention relates to novel trifluoromethylated ß-enaminones and new trifluoromethylated aminopyrazoles and their use as acetylcholinesterase enzyme inhibitors. the new trifluoromethylated ß-enaminones have formula i where n is 0, 1, 2 or 3 carbons methylenes and x is equal to morpholin-4-yl, piperidin-1-yl, cyclohexyl, fur-2-yl, pyridin-3 yl, pyridin-2-yl, pyrrolidin-1-yl, piperazin-1-yl from aliphatic or aromatic amines. The present work also relates to novel compounds of the pyrazole class, specifically trifluoromethylated aminopyrazoles of formula ii, where n is 0, 1, 2 or 3 methylene carbons and is equal to morpholin-4-yl, piperidin-1-yl cyclohexyl, fur-2-yl, pyridin-3-yl, pyridin-2-yl. The present work also relates to the use of the compounds of formula I and II as acetylcholinesterase enzyme inhibitors seeking an effective therapeutic alternative for treatment in Alzheimer's disease.
