A concentrated liquid detergent is formed which includes, based on the total amount of concentrated liquid detergent, (a) 0.1 to 10 weight percent of an anti-reposition polymer, (b) 30 to 70 weight percent of at least a surfactant; (c) 5 to 69.9 weight percent of at least one additional solvent other than water; and (d) 0 to 20 weight percent water. antirelection polymer (a) is the reaction product of, based on the total amount of the antireposition polymer, 25 to 60 weight percent of at least one (meth) acrylic acid monomer and 40 to 75 weight percent of at least one radically polymerizable monomer and optionally at least one open ring maleic anhydride monomer with a hydroxide ion prior to inclusion in the concentrated liquid detergent.
