A process of producing manganese pellets from non-calcined manganese ore is described comprising the steps of: (a) granulometric preparation of the ore through the classification and ore as a function of the size of its particles, being kept in the particles 1 mm or less in size, ore fraction processing to 1 mm or less and comminution of these particles; (b) adding flux; (c) adding binder; (d) pelletizing resulting in raw pellets; and (e) thermal processing by drying, preheating and heating the raw pellets.
