Provide Methods of Water Treatment and inhibition of growth of Photosynthetic bacteria and cyanobacteria.As well as chemical compositions and Devices for Water Treatment.Also provided are methods of use of structural analogues of phenylalanine as herbicides glyphosate or a combination of these.
