The ceiling concrete beam (1) is pre-stressed by bending the metal element (2). The basis of the invention is that at least one flexurally, rigid metal element (2) in the broken form in the manufacturing mould (4) is straightened by pushing the two crossbars (3) against the mould sides (4) by tightening the bolts (5). After concrete is put into the mould (4) and hardened the cross bars (3) are removed.
