Method for leaching manganese oxide ores provides indirect and direct electrochemical ore MnO2 reduction in the leach solution, in the electrolyzer, at the presence of 0.5-0.7 g/l of iron ions; at that, the process is executed at the temperature of 20–40 °C with constant injection of air into an electrolyzer-free electrolyzer, wherein carbonic felt electrode is used as a cathode.
