INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE WITH VALVE-EQUIPPED LINER (VEL)

Internal combustion engine comprising of a liner equipped with valves (VEL -Valve Equipped Liner). The VEL is either permanent or detachable from the liner. The arrangement comprehends inlet and outlet valves which are operating within liner's casting and eliminate the need for a conventional cylinder head and its relevant components. The valves are in such way constructed that when closed are seal the combustion chamber from inlet and outlet manifolds and when open are sealing their driving mechanisms.
