The invention relates to an antibody binding to a third type variant of epidermal growth factor receptor (egfrvlll) and a method for using the same. In some embodiments, the antibody of the invention combines with human egfrvll and has high affinity. The antibody according to the invention can be an antibody of all human beings. The invention also relates to an anti egfrvll antibody combining a cytotoxic agent and a radionuclide.Or other parts harmful to cell growth or proliferation. The antibody of the invention can be used for treating various cancers.
