The present invention relates to the field of biomedical design and the design of bio devices, specifically with neurosurgical processes for the reconstruction of the cranial vault. It presents the process for making the prosthesis for the reconstruction of the cranial vault by PMMA implants. It consists of six stages such as image study, 3D DICOM study, mesh repair process, modeling of a piece, modeling of molds, and elaboration of a piece. Said process allows making pieces that are precise, reduction of surgery times and a considerable reduction of production costs.
