The present invention relates to a method for cloning sheep embryos, which adds an effective amount of an embryonic development-promoting agent selected from antioxidant agents, an oocyte extract and, a human sequential medium, or the combination of them. Said method improves the embryos by increasing in vitro maturation rate of sheep oocytes, the nuclear reprogramming of sheep fibroblasts and the in vitro production of clone embryos, in particular of bighorn sheep, classifying them by their quality based on the IETS parameters.
