The present invention relates to a molecular cracking method which is carried out from a continuous-flow hydrodynamic cavitation reactor, which aims to perform a molecular-level modification of a fluid in treatment, which generally improves the physical and chemical characteristics of the treated fluid, mainly by reducing the viscosity of said fluid without involving a secondary fluid that acts as a diluent. The proposed method can be perfected either in a continuous-flow hydrodynamic cavitation reactor that receives a main working fluid from a production station, or else in a continuous-flow hydrodynamic cavitation reactor intended for laboratory tests, wherein the main working fluid is received from a test tank from which it is possible to achieve conditions similar to those of the natural state for producing the supplied fluid.
