The present invention relates to a novel process for the in-situ production of polymeric nanocomposites comprised of a renewable elastomer and graphene by solution coordination polymerization. The novelty of this process lies in the incorporation of graphene in suspension during the polymerization process of the elastomer. The presence of the nanoparticle does not interfere in the reaction, resulting in a nanocomposite that makes it possible to take advantage of the excellent properties of graphene.
