The present disclosure is related to the use of synthetic DNA molecules to detect a specific sequence of viruses that causes a viral febrile illness, in order to diagnose the etiological agent of the febrile condition to be able to take adequate measures for the rapid recovery of the patient. The present invention can also be used for epidemiology, because it will allow knowing the natural history of the disease, its incidence and prevalence in regions that are currently considered endemic, as the case of Mexico. In the present invention, synthetic positive controls of two of the three viruses and a biological collection sequence are provided, as well as the oligonucleotides that make possible to identify them by means of quantitative PCR, combined with melting-curve, and interpreted in comparison with positive controls. All this procedure allows obtaining reports on the etiology of the feverish picture that the person is experiencing.
