EQUIBIOTIC COMPOSITIONS OF PLANT EXTRACTS USEFUL FOR THE TREATMENT OF GASTRIC INFECTION BY HELICOBACTER PYLORI.

The present disclosure is related to a pharmaceutical equibiotic compositions comprising mixtures of plant extracts with antimicrobial activity on Heilcobacter pylori, and likewise comprising Psidium pumilum guadalupensis DC extracts, standardized in its content of glycosylbenzochromones and standardized extracts of Coptis chinesis standardized in their content of benzophenanthridines; which confer to said compositions synergistic properties, characteristic that proves to be useful for the treatment of infections caused by said pathogen. Also, the compositions of the invention are capable of inhibiting the Helicobacter pylori strains growth which could be resistant to treatment with conventional antibiotic.
