The hot surface warning strip, which is a multilayer structure, has a layer (1) of polyester film of thickness from 20 m to 400 m, with a layer (2) printed from the top with a warning colour and thickness from 5 m to 50 m, coated with a monochrome (3) thermochromatic layer of thickness from 10 m to 150 m, The thermochromatic layer (3) is protected by a layer (4) of transparent polyester laminate of thickness from 5 to 300 m. From the bottom of the layer (1) the substrate is a self-adhesive layer (5) of thickness from 10 m to 140 m,protected by adhesive film or paper (6). At temperature above 60oC, the thermochromatic layer (3) is transparent to the layer below it (2) with a warning label.
