A reduction of heat passage coefficient of pressed glass blocks is achieved by bonding the metal coated flat glass pad (1) with increased heat reflection, where the boding is made in between the two halves of glass block (2), (3) divided from each other in the region of primary weld (6), the hollows (4), (5) are filled with gas and the parts (1), (2), (3) are bounded together to form single piece.
