The subject of the application is a composition containing myo-inositol and D-chiro-inositol for use in a method of weight loss, improvement of metabolic and hormonal parameters and improvement of skin condition in women with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), where myo-inositol and D -chiro-inositol are in a weight ratio of 10: 1 or less, respectively.
