The procedure for determining the cumulative risk level for early warning systems in vehicles has a novelty application of the procedure for the realization of the automatic warning system in the vehicle at the horizontal architecture of distribution of automotive components in the automotive industry. The process consists of four phases, the phase 10 of receiving data from the sensor, phase 15 categorization of risk, phase 20 determining the level of cumulative risk, and phase 30 of selective alert coordination. Innovation (essence) of the invention are reflected in the phase 20 where it is applied weight function risk y = e(x-N) on the conditions and events detected by the sensors from the vehicle, which are in advance, with vehicle program support, individually categorized by ASIL levels. The technical problem solved by this invention is that, in the case of application of the horizontal distribution architecture in the automotive industry enables the development of software support for early warning systems in the vehicle, without compromising strict ISO-26262 standards. Allows compatibility and safe implementation of components for vehicles provided by different manufacturers.
