A method of spawning oyster Crassostrea iredalei, Faustino, 1932 through thermal shock comprising the following steps: collecting a plurality of oyster (Crassostrea iredalei, Faustino, 1932) breeders; separating said oyster breeders from their clutches individually; cleaning said oyster breeders from soft sponges, sea grass, mud, bryozoans, barnacles, algae, or other fouling organisms using hard bristle brush; rinsing said cleaned oyster breeders in a basin with tap water; treating said oyster breeders with prophylactic using buffered formalin solution at 4ppm for 10 minutes; preconditioning said oyster breeders in an aerial tanks having 30 liters of filtered seawater for 4 hours; adding hot filtered sea water to aerial tanks until temperature reaches 30øC.
