BROILER FEEDS WITH CAVENDISH BANANA FRUIT MEAL (CBFM) AS SUBSTITUTE FOR FINE RICE BRAN

Disclosed is a broiler feed to address utilization of unripe Cavendish banana fruits as an alternative substitute for fine rice bran in the diets of broilers comprising of about 16-20 pcnt Cavendish banana fruit meal, 42.5 pcnt ground yellow corn, 30 pcnt soybean oil meal, 5 pcnt fish meal, 0.50 pcnt dicalcium phosphate, 0.50 pcnt vitamin-mineral premix, 0. 75 pcnt limestone, 0.25 pcnt salt, 0.25 pcnt lysine, and 0.25 pcnt methionine. The said broiler feed wherein the mixture is consisting of 20 pcnt Cavendish banana fruit meal, 42.5 pcnt ground yellow corn, 30 pcnt soybean oil meal, 5 pcnt fish meal, 0.50 pcnt dicalcium phosphate, 0.50 pcnt vitamin-mineral premix, 0. 75 pcnt limestone, 0.25 pcnt salt, 0.25 pcnt lysine, and 0.25 pcnt methionine improved the performance of broilers in terms of average weight gain and feed conversion efficiency as well as in minimizing cost of producing feeds.
