The cassette (10) is adapted for mounting on a bicycle rear wheel hub by means of the body (50). The cassette (10) comprises a plurality of sprockets (11) fixedly connected to one another, adjacent along an axis (X) of the cassette, and comprises an axial centering opening (15) for centering on the body (50) without transmission of torque and a plurality of attachment areas (20) to the body (50), positioned a greater radial distance from the axis (X) of the cassette than the radius of the centering opening (15). The second portion (62) of the body (50) has shorter axial extension than the axial extension of the first portion (52), extends radially outwards from the first portion (52) and comprises a plurality of attachment areas (70) for the cassette (10). The attachment of the cassette (10) to the body (50) takes place through the attachment areas (20, 70), arranged in a radially outer position with respect to the centering opening (15). Therefore, the diameter of the centering opening (15) is not constrained by the need to transmit the pedaling torque and therefore can be less than what is normally provided for and therefore the number of teeth of the smallest sprocket can also be very low, for example 10, 9 or even less.
