A method of feedback of channel information by means of a terminal in a communication system of multiple outputs and multiple inputs, MIMO, comprising a base station (110) and a plurality of terminals (120), the method comprising: feedback of channel information to the base station; receiving a feedback stop signal from the base station comprising information on a section N of a number of subframes for which the feedback of the channel information must be stopped; determine a section of a number of subframes for which the feedback of the channel information must be stopped, based on the feedback stop signal; stop feedback of channel information for the given section; and feedback the channel information to the base station at a point of feedback resumption at the time corresponding to the determined section, in which section N is proportional to the number of terminals communicating with the base station and inversely proportional to a number of transmission intervals of the base station.
