A scissor lift comprising a support base (10), the support base includes front wheels (14), rear wheels (16), a chassis (18), and a bump protection assembly; the bump protection assembly comprises: a pair of front bump bars (20) fixed immovably to the chassis and each placed adjacent to the front wheels, respectively; and a pair of rear bump bars (22) fixed immovably to the chassis and each placed adjacent to the rear wheels, respectively, a front internal frame plate (21) integrated with the chassis adjacent to an inner surface of each of the front wheels, and protruding towards the lower part of the chassis to capture an edge of a pothole in a case that the front wheel falls into the pothole; and wherein a space between the front wheels and the rear wheels defines a zone of distance to the ground (24), and wherein the bars for frontal potholes and the bars for rear potholes are arranged at opposite ends of the area of distance to the ground , characterized in that a rear internal frame plate (23) integrated with the chassis adjacent to an inner surface of each of the rear wheels, and protrudes towards the bottom of the chassis to capture the edge of the pothole in a case where the rear wheel falls into the pothole; wherein the front internal frame plates and the rear internal frame plates are placed within a profile of the front wheels and the rear wheels, respectively.
