A material in the form of a powder of solid particles, said particles solids being spherical or substantially spherical and consisting of a continuous envelope comprising at least one silicon oxide, said envelope forming a capsule encapsulating at least one fatty phase, said material being characterized in that said fatty phase is solid at the temperature of storage of said material and comprises from 50 to 99.9% by weight of a crystallizable oil chosen in the group consisting of fats and fat mixtures, of natural or synthetic origin, whose melting point is greater than 15.degrés. C and having a melting temperature (TF) of less than 100.degree. C and at least one substance of interest, said material being characterized in that the diameter of said particles varies from 1 μm at 1 cm. A method of preparing said material, its use for deliverance thermostimulated active substances, and the compositions containing it.
