The invention relates to an aqueous acetochlor microcapsule suspensioncomprising: a) from200 to 700 g/L of a microcapsule comprising: i) a water insoluble polyureashell wall, theshell wall has a thickness of greater than 50 nm and less than 150 nm, and theaverage particlesize is from 2 to 15 µm, and ii) an inner liquid core having from 200 to550 g/L of acetochlorand from 0 to 50 g/L of an herbicide safener which is dichlormid, wherein theweight ratio ofthe acetochlor to the herbicide safener is greater than 10, wherein the weightratio of the innerliquid core to the water insoluble polyurea shell wall is from 6 to 30; b)from 250 to 750 g/Lof water of a continuous aqueous phase; c) from 1 to 100 g/L of a dispersingsurfactant; andd) an addition herbicide which is atrazine.
