FEED ADDITIVE COMPOSITION FOR REDUCING METHANE GAS PRODUCED BY RUMINANT ANIMALS

The present disclosure relates to a feed additive composition for reducingmethaneproduction generated in the ruminant stomach of ruminant animals.Specifically, the presentdisclosure relates to a feed additive composition for reducing methaneproduction comprising atleast one selected from the group consisting of alliin and berberine, morespecifically to a feedadditive composition for reducing methane production comprising at least oneselected from thegroup consisting of diallyl disulfide (DADS), nitrate, and eucalyptus oil. Thefeed additivecomposition according to the present disclosure may be added to the feedwithout additionaltreatment, thereby reducing the amount of methane production in the ruminantstomach withoutnegative effects on livestock productivity. Thus, the feed additivecomposition can beeffectively used in the ruminant animal industry.
