The present invention relates to a method and a device of managing a set oflids, stackedand inserted in a packaging, including the steps of pressing said set anddisplacing it, witha transport device, keeping the lids in the packaging; pressing a secondportion of the setwith a handle; moving the handle so as to take at least a part of the secondportiontowards the first portion; displacing the handle so as to place the secondportion againstthe first portion; immobilizing the second portion against the first portionwith animmobilizing device; opening the handle(and moving it away from the set. Theinventionalso relates to a system for producing palletized sets of lids.
