Surveillance camera comprising an optical sensor and an actuation drive whichis configured toadjust a viewing field of the optical sensor in such a manner that the viewingfield can be adjustedrespectively at least into a surveillance range and an inactive range which isat least partiallyspatially disjoint from the surveillance range. Security from externalsurveillance is ensured in thatthe actuation drive adjusts the viewing field in accordance with an externalactuation signalbetween the surveillance range and the inactive range.
