The invention discloses a method for improving an inlet flow pattern of amultihole inflowpump station. An inlet box culvert is provided at an inlet end of a pumpstation forebay, and acombined rectifying device is provided in the pump station forebay. Thecombined rectifyingdevice comprises a partitioning pier, beams and a flow directing plate. Thepartitioning pier isdisposed along the center line of the pump station forebay; the beams areprovided along the heightdirection of the partitioning pier and are close to the front end of thepartitioning pier; the flowdirecting plate is connected to the side walls of the pump station forebay atboth ends in the widthdirection of the pump station forebay.
