Disclosed are a vehicle loss assessment method, a loss assessment client and a computer readable medium. The method comprises: receiving information input by a user, wherein the input information is information about a damage position of a vehicle; according to the input information, determining matched part information about the damage position and a matched processing method; and according to the part information about the damage position and the processing method, calculating valuation information about the loss assessment. In the present application, specific damage information about a vehicle is conveniently and precisely determined by means of a mobile terminal, allowing standardized information to be transmitted between different departments of the same organization and between different organizations, and improving efficiency of loss assessment and claim settlement; meanwhile, cumbersome workloads caused by manual inputting are reduced, and mistakes possibly resulting from manual inputting are avoided.
