A controlled release material for a fouling organism-sensitive response anti-fouling agent. The material consists of a coated precursor and a crosslinker. For the coated precursor, alternate hyaluronic acid and poly-L-lysine layers are self-assembled to prepare a hyaluronic acid/poly-L-lysine type nano-thin shell structure controlled release material, and alternate poly(allylamine hydrochloride) and poly L-glycine layers are self-assembled to prepare a poly(allylamine hydrochloride)/poly-L-glycine type nano-thin shell structure controlled release material. The crosslinker is prepared by compounding 1-(3-dimethylaminopropyl)-3-ethylcarbodiimide hydrochloride and N-Hydroxysulfosuccinimide. The controlled release material is based on the specific catalytic hydrolysis property of extracellular protease of fouling microorganisms to the controlled release material, can achieve the purpose of adaptively controlling release of an anti-fouling agent along with the change of peak season and off peak season of attachment of fouling organisms, and extend the anti-fouling period of a paint.
