METHODS FOR PERSPECTIVE CORRECTION, COMPUTER PROGRAM PRODUCTS AND SYSTEMS

The disclosure relates to a method for providing perspective correction information to be used in a system displaying information on a head-up display, the method comprising: capturing a reference image (3) of a scene (2) using a camera (B) corresponding to a camera intended to depict a view in front of a vehicle; capturing a first image (4) of the scene(2) using a camera (A) positioned in a first position corresponding to a first view point of a driver; calculating, based on the reference image (3) and on the first image (4), a first homography matrix M₁ representing the perspective difference between the cameras; capturing a second image of the scene using a camera positioned in a second position corresponding to a second view point of a driver, the second position being different from the first position; calculating, based on the reference image (3) and on the second image, a second homography matrix (M₂) representing the perspective difference between the cameras; and saving the first and second homography matrices (M₁, M₂) in a memory. The disclosure also relates a method for perspective correction in a system displaying information on a head-up display, to computer program products and to systems.
