A smart traffic vehicle rule-violation point assignment method and system, the method comprising the following steps: obtaining accident data of a first road (S101); if the accident data exceeds a set threshold value, extracting navigation data of vehicles travelling on the first road (S102); if the number of times wherein speed data in the navigation data exceeds a preset speed is greater than a number threshold value, assigning a speed-measurement point for the first road (S103). The method has the advantage of a good user experience.
