Provided are a power generation device based on helical vibrating ball nano-scale friction and a buoy body thereof. The power generation device comprises an inner helical barrel (4), an outer helical barrel (5) sheathed onto the inner helical barrel (4), a plurality of hollow balls (3) between the two helical barrels, an electric energy storage device accommodated inside the inner helical barrel (4), and a buoy barrel (6) accommodating the outer helical barrel (5). The outer wall of the inner helical barrel (4) is provided with a plurality of helical tracks I (7) extending from one end of the inner helical barrel (4) to the opposite end. The inner wall of the outer helical barrel (5) is provided with a plurality of helical tracks II (8) extending from one end of the outer helical barrel (5) to the opposite end. The inner helical barrel (4) is sheathed by the outer helical barrel (5), and the plurality of helical tracks I and II are in a one-to-one correspondence relationship and join together to form a plurality of helical passages. A nano-scale friction power generation film is disposed on an outer surface of each of the hollow balls and an inner wall of each of the helical passages. When the device on a water surface is subjected to a wave impact, the nano-scale friction power generation films on a hollow ball and a corresponding helical passage rub against each other to generate a current, and the current is stored by the electric energy storage device.
